We fans are fierce about Arrested Development.

Arrested Development is probably one of the most quotable and unique shows out there. Lots have tried to reproduce it but few have succeeded. And as most good things, it was canceled before it should have been.

Those of use AD fans re very fierce. Apparently the fine folks at Double Fine entertainment (video game company who make Costume Quest) are also fans. I love how his name is also Gob. When I saw this, I knew I HAD to snap a photo and post it here. In case you have no idea what the significance of this picture is, here's a video to catch you up.

Gob stands for George Oscar Bluth. Gob is pronounced like Job (from the Bible, not as in I have a job I for at). That was also a joke from AD about how they always called him Gob (like a gob of gum). You just can't find comedy like this much anymore.

I leave the internet for like a day and a half...

And the whole world seems to fall apart. Seriously. My church congregation held a "technology fast" this last weekend (good thing they didn't pick Superbowl Sunday, not that I care, but others would riot!) where we stayed away from the internet and texting and video games and stuff like that. So it seemed on Monday when I got back to the real world and could check my news websites, there were riots and other-throws and all sorts of crazy stuff and now I am so far behind I cannot even begin to understand everything that is going on and to form my own opinion. And quite frankly, it is annoying.

A friend of mine just got shipped overseas. I have huge respect for people like him. He is a real hero.

It is freezing cold here right now... single digits, both positive and negative integers. Not my kind of weather. I did just get some waterproof boots though and I am dying to try them out.

Okay, here's something I've been thinking about. So I've been watching this show called "The Cape" and really it isn't half bad. Not half good either, but more good than bad. And as far as I can tell, if they want to keep interest in the show, they need to do some things, which may end up being kind of a mess. In short, there is a girl, Orwell, who plays Oracle to The Cape's Batman. The Cape cannot go see his family, who thinks he is dead. So yeah, you know they are gonna hit up the will they/won't they aspect of them, but to not make the Cape look like a total jerk, they are gonna have to kill off the guy's wife and maybe his kid too. Really, I don't like either of those characters. The kid is played by the same actor who was Dylan Simcoe in FlashForward and I couldn't stand him there either.
